shin CHO + stuart HELO: the project is intended to develop a complex material assembly from simple sheet material in such a way that the assembly displays a multi-performative capacity to modulate concurrently specified categories and ranges of co-related spatial and environmental conditions.
the investigation focuses on understanding and integrating the three main components of the project: the behavioral tendencies of the material as a prototypical element, defining and instrumentalising self-organizational systems from architectural criteria through a process of parametric differentiation, and lastly, methods of rapid prototyping as a means towards the realization and construction of architectural form.

sP: what were you reading/listening to/watching while developing this project?
c+h: reading bernard CACHE earth moves: the furnishing of territories and listening to an assortment of classical music and jazz standards. although, when fatigue began to creep in, strauss’ also sprach zarathustra always seemed to inspire and foster those rare moments of semi-lucid thought…
