suckerPUNCH: describe your project.
matt POST: investigating the opportunities that lie within two and a half dimensions, this project explores how articulated volumetric surfaces can create affect. by highlighting the relationships among digital tools, traditional materials, and decoration, this work displays how the relief can be used to integrate ornament into the contemporary high-rise. integration of the affects of softness and plasticity to the geometry of the facade contrasts the strict orthogonal repetition of the modern movement.
