suckerPUNCH: describe your project.
markéta RICHTEROVÁ: the new collection of bracelets is a result of cooperation with texeternal company who have developed metallic woven fabric made of carbon fiber exclusively for markéta. carbon fibers have been produced for usage in space industry based on their qualities – hardness and minimal weight. while metallic fabric retains these qualities, metal coating adds shine and visual aesthetic of precious metals, such as gold and silver. fine scaly structure is a natural property of the fabric. collection was presented at the designblok’09 festival.
