    alice LABOUREL: This is a project that is located Gare du Nord, in Paris, and that is made to prevent people arriving in the station from standing in the area.


    Indeed, when the place is crowded, it becomes insecure. Captors in the station would send a signal to the railway, during rush hours, in order to divert the trains.

    In the project is then a new station in which new elevators that bring people out of the train into aerial tramways that send them in the city.

    aL: Lebbeus Woods,Viollet-le-Duc’s work, The “art nouveau” details of the station Gare du Nord by Jacques Hittorff.

    sP: what were you reading/listening to/watching while developing this project?

    aL: Listening Serges Gainsbourg, Reading Archigram, Watching Blade Runner (Ridley Scott).
