suckerPUNCH: Describe your project.
Marcin KITALA: Suits intended for hard atmospheric conditions or extreme sports; for future soldiers, pilots or divers.
Material wraps one’s body with a seamless surface, at the same time covering wires, electronic armature, systems for sustaining life, and actuators strengthening the skeleton, muscles, and helping one to breathe.
Power supply comes from two sets of rechargeable cells—while one is charging, the second is the power source.
Layers can be sprayed on the body, or one can plunge into the solution and wait for the liquid to dry. The whole can play a role of (human) second skin or can replace one’s original skin for good.
