sP: what or who influenced this project?
bK: I became particularly fascinated with the way leah’s pen drawings were layered to imply a very defined and limited measure of space almost as if they were a series of cut outs folding into one another within the depth of an inch. the idea that a drawing could be simultaneously both two and three dimensional in nature influenced me to want to explore the idea that a wall or a ceiling or a floor could also be defined in this way.
